The Internet and Me – Working as an Online Supervisor

Maria O’Brien

In this Interview John & Maria will discuss her experience of being an online supervisor and look at some of the factors which may influence both Mariaf2f and online therapists to seek supervision online. We will explore the process from point of contact to the continuous development of a working relationship.

Maria is a BACP Accredited Counsellor who has completed various Post Graduate trainings in f2f and online supervision, she is a tutor for OLT and on retirement of Anne Stokes and Gill Jones will become a Co-Director of Online Training for Counsellors with Suzie Mosson and Liane Collins.

Originally from Southern Ireland I have lived and worked in the UK for 25 years. I settled in Hampshire in the mid 90’s and sometime later began my counselling training.

I developed an independent practice which offers online and face to face counselling and online supervision.

Aside from work I enjoy running, cycling and retail therapy!
